Our Life is Beautiful fundraiser + celebration on September 30th, was a huge success. The show meant to much to me as I have worked with Canuck Place numerous times over my ten years in business and last week at Winsor Gallery it gave me great pleasure to share moments captured with the children of the hospice and their families. It’s an honour to meet these families who have so much strength and positivity and I feel honoured that they allowed me to capture such intimate and precious memories .
Once again a special thank you to all the sponsors of the event as well as to my clients that allowed me to showcase them in my Through the Years part of the show.

We were very pleased to be a part of the 3rd Annual, Unite with Art event on Thursday. The event is an art auction to benefit UNICEF’s Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS campaign. This was our first year participating in the auction and we were thrilled to see our work in the same room as such artists as Sheila Neufeld, Edward Epp and Christian Nicolay.
The event brought out some of our most passionate art clients; Jussi & Sally Westergren, Treana Peake of Obakki, and Jennifer Winsor of Winsor Gallery. We were also witness to this stunning Brent Comber piece being snapped up in the live auction by Sarah McLaughlin.
The official word is that the event raised over $427,000! What an honor to be part of such a worthwhile charity. We had a great time and look forward to donating again next year.
